ORDERING

How does the service work?

Coventry Market’s Home Delivery service allows you to get all your market favourites from the comfort of your armchair, or from anywhere you are really! If you have a busy lifestyle, or just don’t fancy going outside, we will gather your items from the different stalls and delivery them to your door.

You simply:

· Begin your order by picking your favourite items and selecting a delivery day.

· Fill in your details at the checkout page.

· Sit back and wait for the doorbell to ring.

How long does it take to process my order?

You can receive your order as early as tomorrow. Orders must be placed before 1pm between Sunday - Friday for next day delivery on Monday - Saturday.

 

DELIVERY

Do you charge for delivery?

Yes. For most of Coventry it is £2.95. There is an additional charge for surrounding areas.

What time can I expect my order?

Anytime from 8 am to 5 pm on your delivery day.

Can I select a delivery time?

Unfortunately not, we operate on a postcode bases and our best route around the city changes day by day. We optimised our routes to be efficient in time whilst also reducing our carbon footprint.

Will my order arrive all together?

Yes. However, please bear in mind that not all our local stalls are open on everyday of the week. In this case your delivery day will be moved to the next available day when all your items can be delivered at once.

Do you deliver on Bank Holidays?

No. Any orders scheduled for delivery on a Bank Holiday will be moved to the next working day.

Do I need to be in to receive my order?

Depending on your order. If your order does not contain raw meat or fish, we can leave your order in a safe designated space specified on checkout. Although we have a refrigerated van for temperature control on transport we will not leave raw meats or fish in a unsuitable place. 

Do I need to wash my produce when I receive it?

We recommend giving the fruit and veg a quick wash before eating.

Why isn't it giving me a shipping option, only click and collect?

You will only be offered a shipping option when checking out if you are within one of our applicable postcodes, CV1-CV6, or CV7, CV8 and CV12. Please ensure you put a gap in your postcode, eg: "CV1 3HT". If you do not place a gap the system will think you are outside of our delivery area and only give you an option to click and collect. 

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

What payment options are available?

We accept most debit/credit cards, Apple pay, Google pay.

When will I be charged?

Your payment will need to be made on checkout.

How are refunds processed?

If you experience an issue, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your delivery. Assuming a refund is due, we will process a bank transfer.

 

COVID-19

All stalls operating within Coventry Market have been risk assessed and issued a COVID secure certificate by Coventry City Council. Packing and delivery staff are full trained in obligatory PPE to be worn, regular sanitisation and practice social distancing. Our drivers have a ‘No Contact Delivery Practice’ which means you will not be required to sign anything for your delivery.
